Teatro Verdi.

The Teatro Verdi of Florence was founded in September 1854 by Girolamo Pagliano and was originally called Teatro delle Antiche Stinche, named after the prison on which it was built. Today, as throughout its 150-year history, the theater presents a multi-faceted program which includes various performing arts, such as ORT's (Orchestra della Toscana) classical music concerts, theater, opera, operetta, ballet, pop and jazz concerts, film premières and conventions.
